Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to build desktop and mobile test automation and to own manual testing across our applications. You will collaborate with developers and product teams to define testability and acceptance criteria, ensuring high-quality releases.

The role emphasizes hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing, with CI/CD integration and a focus on stable, reliable test automation across desktop and mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with manual testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
