Job summary

Tether seeks an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation for our fintech apps. You will ensure reliable test coverage, integrate tests with CI/CD pipelines, and drive quality across releases for both desktop and mobile platforms.

You will perform manual and exploratory testing, investigate failures, and collaborate with developers to improve testability. Remote collaboration across a global team is expected.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation.
• Hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with desktop/mobile test automation tools.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
