Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and manual testing for our fintech apps. You will build reliable tests, integrate them into CI/CD, and ensure fast feedback across platforms.

You will explore AI-assisted QA, collaborate with developers on testability, and perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing for Electron and React Native apps on real devices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on real devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
• Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
