Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to drive automated and manual testing across desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain regression tests, integrate with CI/CD, and work closely with developers and product teams to ensure software quality.

The role emphasizes hands-on testing, creating clear bug reports, and contributing to test strategy with a focus on reliability and scalability. Flexible schedule with remote/office options is available.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance tests.
• Record detailed feature behavior documentation.
• Log pass/fail conditions and link to bugs.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Coordinate with customer teams to incorporate feedback.
• Assist in effort estimations and planning.
• Maintain automation repos in GitHub and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
