AgileEngine is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to strengthen software quality across Fortune 500 and startup projects. You will build regression scripts, perform diverse testing, and document results to ensure robust product releases.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in QA, 3+ years automated testing, strong communication, Gherkin experience, AI-assisted tools, and QA tooling such as Jest, Playwright, and Postman. Remote/office flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset and testing discipline.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with AI-assisted coding and agentic QA practices.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation against criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Log pass/fail criteria and correlate with bugs.
• Identify quality risks and promote quality across SDLC.
• Collaborate with product teams and customer-facing teams on testing strategy.
• Estimate effort during refinement and planning.
• Use GitHub to maintain automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
