AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for our desktop and mobile applications. Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows. Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and testing tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions and correlate to bugs.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
