Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking a QA Engineer with 3+ years in software quality assurance and automated testing. You will build regression tests, perform manual validation, and collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure quality across releases.

Experience with Gherkin, AI-assisted tooling concepts, and testing frameworks like Jest, Playwright, and Postman is highly valued. Flexible, remote-friendly, USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software quality assurance and 3+ years in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing to ensure proper behavior.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and pass/fail conditions.
• Identify risks and collaborate with product teams to ensure quality throughout SDLC.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
