AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to drive quality across desktop and mobile applications. You will design and maintain regression suites, implement tests in CI/CD, and collaborate with developers and product teams to improve testability and acceptance criteria.

Requirements include 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on manual testing, and experience with Playwright or WebdriverIO, plus AI tool usage in QA. This role offers remote flexibility and USD-based compensation.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a mindset focused on holistic quality.
• Experience writing and working with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
