Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation while performing hands-on manual testing. You will integrate tests into CI/CD, investigate failures, and ensure reliability of critical user flows.

Responsibilities include maintaining regression suites, documenting defects, and collaborating with developers and product teams to improve testability. Remote work across global teams is supported.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation and manual/exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines e.g. GitHub Actions.
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron/React Native apps on iOS/Android.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regression automation scripts for core features.
• Manually test software for validation against defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing.
• Document feature behavior and test results clearly.
• Track pass/fail criteria and link defects to issues.
• Identify risks to product quality and raise them.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality through SDLC.
• Incorporate user feedback into testing strategy.
• Contribute to test planning and estimations.
• Use GitHub to manage automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
