Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. You will build regression tests, investigate failures, and collaborate across product and engineering teams to improve testability and coverage.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in software QA and 3+ years in automated testing.
• Experience with Gherkin for BDD.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Holistic quality mindset and risk awareness.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts for app functionality.
• Manual testing for validation based on criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing.
• Document feature behavior in detail.
• Log pass/fail cases and link to bugs.
• Collaborate with product to ensure quality across SDLC.
• Work with customer-facing teams to integrate feedback.
• Participate in refinement and estimation sessions.
• Use GitHub to manage automation repos and scripts.
• Participate in on-call rotation.
