Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile test automation and manual testing. You will ensure fast, reliable test execution across CI/CD workflows and collaborate with developers to improve testability.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in QA automation, hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron and React Native, and familiarity with AI-assisted testing tools. Remote, international team.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps on iOS and Android.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
