Job summary

Tether is looking for an Automation QA Engineer to own desktop and mobile testing, combining automation with manual testing. You will build robust test suites, integrate them into CI/CD (GitHub Actions), and work with developers to improve testability. Hands-on with Playwright, WebdriverIO, and Appium is essential.

You will perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing across Electron/React Native apps, including real devices, and will leverage AI tools to enhance QA processes.

Qualifications

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual testing experience.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing of new features.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
