Job summary

AgileEngine, LLC is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile applications.

Build and maintain test automation, integrate into CI/CD, investigate failures, collaborate with developers and product teams, perform functional, exploratory, and regression testing, and select manual or automated coverage based on risk.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and Agentic quality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined set of criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types to ensure proper behavior of software.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bug identification.
• Identify and expand risk to quality of the product or the process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in the testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run custom scripts, and facilitate automated quality practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
