Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer with strong automation skills who also takes ownership of manual testing for desktop and mobile applications.

Build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and work with developers to ensure quality throughout the product lifecycle. Remote-friendly, USD-based compensation, with a focus on robust QA practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in software QA.
• 3+ years of automated testing experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Holistic quality mindset.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality .
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy based on defined criteria.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions of tests and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout the SDLC and product release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort to promote accurate planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories and run custom scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
