Job summary

AgileEngine is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile applications. You will build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and work closely with product and development teams to ensure quality across the SDLC.

Strong knowledge of Playwright and WebdriverIO is expected, with on-call rotation included. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, apply AI-assisted testing practices, and contribute to robust test data

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a software quality assurance role.
• 3+ years of experience in automated testing.
• Experience with Gherkin for behavior-driven development.
• Experience with prompt engineering and harness engineering.
• Experience building Agentic skills focused on Quality Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Build regression automation scripts to support app functionality.
• Manual test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance testing and more.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior and pass/fail criteria.
• Collaborate with product and development teams throughout SDLC and releases.
• Utilize GitHub to manage automation repositories and run scripts.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
