Job summary

Accenture Argentina is seeking an experienced accounting professional to provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. The role requires genuine technical accounting judgment and the ability to independently investigate and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include handling escalated tickets, reviewing reconciliations, and assisting customers with tax and payroll questions while adapting to new internal systems and AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated professional accounting experience, ideally with US accounting/tax exposure.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to investigate and resolve complex issues independently.
• Experience with bookkeeping, tax returns, payroll, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot discrepancies, reconciliations and transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related questions and payroll issues.
• Communicate findings via Zendesk, email-style tickets, and scheduled calls.
