Job summary

Flowserve seeks an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert guidance on US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries. Responsibilities include investigating escalated tickets, reviewing reconciliations, and supporting payroll and tax questions.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication; able to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment with evolving workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll queries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and reconciliations.
• Assist customers with tax notices, filing status questions, and tax-related inquiries.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
