Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced US Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide Level 2 support for complex accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries from US clients. This remote role is based in Argentina with coverage during US business hours and overlapping ET windows.

The ideal candidate combines advanced accounting knowledge with strong communication skills, the ability to investigate issues, and familiarity with proprietary AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting/tax.
• Experience with bookkeeping, tax return reviews, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers.
• Strong English written and verbal communication.
• Ability to learn proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email-style ticket responses, and scheduled calls.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Adapt to new internal systems as the client transitions away from Zendesk.
• Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
