Job summary

Flowserve is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert accounting and US tax guidance to customers. The role emphasizes independent issue resolution, strong communication, and the ability to adapt to new proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.

The position is remote in Argentina, requiring overlapping hours with US business time and careful attention to compliance and documentation.

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience, ideally with US accounting/tax exposure.
Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing financial support.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, filing status, and tax return questions.
Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email-style tickets, and phone support.
Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal specialists.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
Identify recurring issues and opportunities to improve workflows and knowledge resources.
Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
