Flowserve is seeking an experienced US Tax & Accounting Support Specialist for a remote position based in Argentina. You will provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries, investigate escalated issues, and coordinate with internal specialists.

Strong English communication and accounting expertise are essential. The role requires adapting to new systems, including AI-assisted workflows, and mindset for a fast-paced tech environment.

Qualifications

• Professional accounting experience with US accounting and taxation.
• Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return reviews, payroll, and financial reporting.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing financial support.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex accounting and tax topics to nontechnical customers.
• Ability to learn proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.

Responsabilités

• Provide specialized Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions within scope.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email-style ticket responses, and scheduled phone support.
• Independently investigate issues, identify root causes, and coordinate with internal specialists.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
