Job summary

Yo Ai Labs is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide specialized US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll support from a remote Argentina location. You will handle complex inquiries with strong accounting judgment and independently investigate issues.

The role requires coverage from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET with shifts overlapping US business hours. You will use Zendesk, emails, and scheduled calls to document resolutions and improve processes, while

Qualifications

• Experience in US accounting and taxation.
• Ability to handle complex tax and accounting inquiries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.
• Willingness to work US hours and ET coverage.
• CPA/EA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax support tickets.
• Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies, reconciliations, and accounting transactions.
• Assist customers with tax-related inquiries, notices, and filing status questions.
• Support payroll questions, setup, processing issues, and troubleshooting.
• Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email, and scheduled calls.
• Independently investigate issues and identify root causes.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Identify recurring issues and improve workflows and knowledge resources.
• Adapt to new internal systems as the client transitions from Zendesk.
• Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
