Overseas is seeking a Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to provide expert remote support for US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries from Argentina. The role requires genuine technical accounting judgment and the ability to independently resolve complex issues.

Expected coverage of 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET with shifts overlapping US hours; strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Seasoned accounting professional with US accounting and tax exposure.
• Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to investigate, troubleshoot, and explain topics to non-technical customers.
• Familiarity with QuickBooks, Excel, and Zendesk is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 support for complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll inquiries.
• Investigate escalated tickets and resolve accounting and tax issues.
• Review reconciliations, processing of payroll questions, and tax notices.
• Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
• Adapt to new internal systems and AI-assisted workflows.
