Job summary

Manatal-264 is seeking an experienced Level 2 Tax & Accounting Support Specialist to handle complex US accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries. The role requires strong accounting judgment, independent investigation, and excellent English communication.

Work hours cover 8:00 AM–8:00 PM ET with staggered schedules to align with US business hours. Remote from Argentina, with familiarity in Zendesk and evolving workflows. CPA/EA preferred, Big Four background desirable.

Qualifications

Professional accounting experience with exposure to US accounting and taxation.
Strong knowledge of bookkeeping, tax return review, reconciliations, payroll, and financial reporting.
Experience handling complex tax and accounting inquiries and customer-facing support.
Excellent written and verbal English communication.
Ability to explain complex topics to nontechnical customers.

Responsibilities

Provide Level 2 support for complex US customer accounting, tax, bookkeeping and payroll inquiries.
Investigate and resolve escalated accounting and tax tickets.
Review and troubleshoot bookkeeping discrepancies and transactions.
Assist customers with tax inquiries, notices, filing status questions, and tax return questions.
Support payroll questions, setup and processing issues.
Communicate technical findings via Zendesk, email tickets, and scheduled calls.
Investigate root causes and coordinate with internal specialists as needed.
Document resolutions and maintain accurate customer records.
Identify recurring issues and suggest workflow or knowledge-resource improvements.
Learn and work with proprietary platforms and AI-assisted workflows.
