MAVI places experienced finance professionals into senior, high-ownership roles with US companies, and is seeking a Lead Accountant to run the close remotely from Argentina for a high-growth client. You will stay hands-on with complex entries while guiding the team and reporting to US Controllers and CFOs.

Expect to maintain US GAAP financial statements, own the month-end close, and improve processes using AI and automation.

Formación

• 6+ years of accounting experience with hands-on ownership of the month-end close.
• Experience reviewing or guiding other accountants.
• US GAAP experience or IFRS/Argentine GAAP exposure with US clients.
• Strong English written and spoken for daily collaboration with US teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent qualification.

Responsabilidades

• Lead month-end and year-end close activities for a US company.
• Own complex journal entries and reconciliations; document conclusions.
• Review team work and provide targeted feedback to reduce errors.
• Prepare financial statements under US GAAP and explain variances.
• Support audits and fix control gaps in recurring workflows.
• Drive SOP improvements and evaluate AI/automation opportunities.
