MAVI is seeking a Senior Accountant to own month-end close and core financial reporting for a US fintech company, working remotely from Argentina. You will manage end-to-end close, ensure US GAAP compliance, and provide high-quality financial analysis with limited supervision.

This full-time, long-term opportunity offers USD-denominated compensation and direct collaboration with US finance leaders. The role emphasizes automation, practicality, and continuous process improvement.

Formación

• 4+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience owning a workstream through the close without day-to-day supervision.
• Solid accrual accounting fundamentals and experience preparing financial statement support.
• Experience with high-volume transaction reconciliations.
• US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities.
• Experience with QuickBooks Online, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Xero.
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.

Responsabilidades

• The close: Prepare and own month-end close tasks, including accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Financial statements: Prepare the P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow support under US GAAP, and explain material movements.
• Journal entries: Record recurring and non-recurring entries with support a reviewer can follow.
• Funds flow: Reconcile processor, bank, and ledger balances daily, including settlements and chargebacks.
• Partner reporting: Support reporting for sponsor banks, licenses, and partner audits.
• Audit support: Prepare the PBC schedules for your areas and answer auditor questions directly.
