Job summary

Assurant is seeking a Technical Support Associate to deliver first‑level IT support across the organization. The role emphasizes ITSM alignment with ITIL practices, incident handling, and service request fulfillment while maintaining strong end‑user communication.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years in technical support, a degree in IT/CS/Engineering, and experience with Microsoft 365, AD/Okta, and endpoint management.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in Technical Support, Help Desk, Service Desk, Desktop Support, or similar IT support role.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 services and identity/access management solutions (e.g., Active Directory, Okta).

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level support for hardware, software, telecommunications, mobile devices, and network connectivity issues.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve routine technical incidents affecting end users.
• Manage installation, configuration, relocation, and removal of hardware/software.
• Own and track incidents and service requests through resolution per SLAs.
• Maintain ITSM processes related to Incident Management and Request Fulfillment.
• Collaborate with IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated issues.
• Communicate effectively with end users throughout the support lifecycle.
