Job summary

Agent is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join our growing accounting services team. This remote, full-time role follows US business hours and involves leading bookkeeping staff, overseeing AR/AP, and ensuring a robust month-end close.

You will work with Ramp and QuickBooks Online, support financial forecasting and modeling, and assist with due diligence and audits for potential fundraising or acquisitions. Excellent communication and GAAP knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Controller.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting process management.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online; Ramp experience preferred but not required.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows).
• Willingness and ability to work US business hours.

Responsibilities

• Supervise bookkeeping staff and oversee division of duties.
• Take full responsibility for AR and AP across multiple client accounts.
• Ensure comprehensive month-end close, including booking transactions and preparing financial statements.
• Maintain proficiency in Ramp and QuickBooks Online.
• Provide reliable financial data for forecasting and assist CFO with modeling.
• Review and correct financials prior to CFO review.
• Participate in due diligence or audits and special projects.
• Communicate clearly with team members and clients.
