Entrepreneur Cooperative is seeking a QuickBooks Financial Controller to own the accounting operations. You will manage the General Ledger, lead the transition from external to in-house accounting, and oversee AP/AR with strong QuickBooks expertise in a fully remote setup.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as Financial Controller or senior accounting professional with full ownership of the General Ledger.
• Advanced hands-on QuickBooks expertise.
• Experience configuring QuickBooks and/or leading a QuickBooks implementation.
• Strong experience managing the General Ledger, reconciliations, and month-end close.
• Experience preparing financial statements and P&L reports.
• Solid Chart of Accounts structures and classifications knowledge.
• Experience supervising Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
• Excellent attention to detail and very low error rate.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and overlap US hours.
• C1/C2 English proficiency, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Configure and optimize QuickBooks to support the company’s accounting structure and reporting requirements.
• Lead or support QuickBooks configuration and implementation initiatives.
• Transition the General Ledger from an external firm to an in-house function.
• Maintain, reconcile, and close the books monthly.
• Establish and maintain the Chart of Accounts and classification standards.
• Prepare accurate financial statements across business divisions.
• Oversee bank reconciliations and monitor cash position.
• Supervise Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable specialists.
• Review invoices, payroll, and client statements; interface with clients when needed.
• Ensure accounting work meets established standards; support non-accounting needs as required.
