AGS Youth Soccer Club is seeking a detail‑oriented Controller to lead day‑to‑day accounting, close books, and support growth with accurate financial reporting. You will own AR/AP, payroll, bank reconciliations, and internal controls in a remote setting.

The role requires GAAP knowledge, strong Excel and analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex data to non‑finance stakeholders while partnering with the CFO and distributed team.

Formación

• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear communication to translate financial data for non‑finance stakeholders.
• High accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment with distributed team.

Responsabilidades

• Perform full-cycle bookkeeping including A/P, A/R, payroll and bank reconciliations.
• Match bank feeds and reconcile accounts in QuickBooks Online; inter‑company work.
• Manage AR and AP processes, invoicing, and timely payments.
• Process semi‑monthly payroll with Wagepoint and Square.
• Ensure accurate tax filings using HST and ITCs.
• Review and authorize staff expense reimbursements.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual close; provide P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
• Develop internal controls; coordinate audits, tax filings and regulatory reporting.
• Prepare budget‑to‑actual analyses and support budgeting/forecasting.
• Maintain QuickBooks Online and Excel proficiency; streamline processes in finance.
