MAVI, an AI-powered finance and accounting platform, seeks an experienced Controller to oversee accounting operations for US-based clients. This hands-on leadership role requires strategic planning and attention to detail.

You will manage end-to-end close, ensure US GAAP compliant reporting, establish internal controls, coordinate audits, and mentor the accounting team. Remote work with a global finance network offers high-impact ownership and ERP transformation exposure.

Formación

• 8–10+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Experience as Controller, Assistant Controller, or senior Accounting Manager.
• Deep understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience managing audits and external auditors.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee end-to-end accounting operations across GL, AP, AR, reconciliations, and close.
• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process.
• Ensure financial reporting is accurate and compliant with US GAAP.
• Establish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls, and close procedures.
• Coordinate audits and manage relationships with external auditors.
• Lead accounting system implementations, migrations, and automation initiatives.
• Review, mentor, and support accounting team members.
• Communicate financial risks and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
