Job summary

Sweat Pants Agency is hiring a Google Ads Media Buyer / Growth Strategist to own a set of DTC accounts end to end. You will be the client’s direct point of contact, conduct audits, and defend your decisions in calls with clients, with budgets from $5k/mo to six figures.

This remote role invites you to manage campaigns across Search, Shopping, PMax, YouTube, and Merchant Center, to build landing pages and tracking, and to work with AI tools. US Eastern hours are required for client calls.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Google Ads with meaningful spend on DTC/eCommerce; demonstrable CPA/ROAS improvements.
• Fluent across Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, GTM.
• Able to present results in English and defend decisions to clients; strong communication.
• Bonus: built or operated a Shopify store or ran Meta campaigns with significant spend.

Responsibilities

• Own a set of DTC accounts end to end as strategist, buyer, and client contact.
• Audit accounts before touching anything: structure, keywords vs search terms, negatives, bidding, feed health, landing pages, tracking.
• Run brand and non-brand as separate businesses with clear reporting.
• Understand PMax mechanics and separate branded vs incremental volume.
• Monitor and constrain Google's automation (auto-apply features, sitelinks, etc.).
• Own feed hygiene in Merchant Center and impact on Shopping/PMax.
• Own tracking (GA4, GTM,Shopify goals, conversions) and reconcile data discrepancies.
• Diagnose bottlenecks across creative, offers, AOV, landing pages, and checkout; implement fixes.
• Build landing pages and scripts as needed; leverage AI to extend capabilities.
• Communicate with clients to explain strategies and holdouts; drive action based on data.
