Job summary

Bluelight is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Data Center operations. This role acts as the primary technical contact across projects involving hardware deployment, cabling, power/cooling, and remote hands.

You will own client onboarding, manage tickets in ITSM tools, coordinate multi-workstream activity, and lead a small on-site/off-site team while ensuring budgets and change orders are controlled. Remote work with global clients is supported.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in datacenter operations or technical infrastructure.
• Direct client-facing role with technical background or ops exposure.
• Hands-on familiarity with server hardware, structured cabling, power, and cooling.
• Proficient with ITSM tools: Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for client accounts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own the full ticket lifecycle in ITSM platforms with clear documentation at every stage.
• Oversee on-site and remote-hands work including rack/stack, cabling, power, and cooling.
• Track project budgets, flag overruns, and manage change orders and vendor invoices.
• Lead and develop a small technical team, and build SOPs and runbooks.
