Job summary

Bluelightconsulting is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Data Center operations, with a remote work model. You will act as the primary technical contact, managing client onboarding, scoping, and end-to-end ticket lifecycle across planning, procurement, deployment, and sign-off.

You will oversee datacenter hardware, cabling, power and cooling, coordinate with vendors, ensure change control, and lead a small technical team, all while keeping stakeholders informed with dashboards and reports.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of datacenter/technical infra experience.
• Direct client-facing experience with a technical background.
• Hands-on familiarity with server hardware, cabling, power, and remote hands.
• Proficiency with ITSM tools such as Jira, ServiceNow or Zendesk.
• Experience managing and developing a small technical team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical point of contact for assigned client accounts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Lead onboarding, scoping calls, and technical review meetings with clients.
• Translate client requirements into actionable work orders and internal tickets.
• Manage SLA commitments, report delivery status, and handle escalations without handoffs.
• Build long-term relationships to reduce churn and drive expansion.
• Own the full ticket lifecycle in Jira/ServiceNow, create and close tickets with clear documentation.
