Job summary

Overseas is seeking a Workforce Operations Manager to own people and output management for a data-labeling operation in a fast-moving AI company. You will lead teams of 5–10 workers per project, ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate handoffs to engineering.

This is a non-technical, pure operations role focusing on people management and process optimization. The ideal candidate has community or people-management experience in a distributed, async environment and excels at keeping teams aligned

Qualifications

• Experience leading distributed or remote teams in async environments.
• Strong written and spoken English with clear direction.
• Ability to manage output quality without micromanaging.

Responsibilities

• Oversee 5–10 workers per project to keep output on schedule.
• Coordinate handoffs of labeled data to engineering promptly.
• Maintain records of project status and team assignments.
• Identify bottlenecks and improve workflow efficiency.
• Manage team communications across Slack and email.
