Job summary

Alignerr Corp. is seeking a Data Engineer (Marketing-oriented) to join a remote team supporting education and nonprofit clients. You will own data ingestion, CRM connections, and the data warehouse, building scalable pipelines from source systems to dashboards and automated reports.

A strong focus on data quality and multi-client segregation is essential. You will implement modular, version-controlled dbt/Dataform pipelines, work with Adverity and other ETL tools, and collaborate with marketing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on data engineering experience, preferably in a marketing or agency setting.
• Proven ability to configure data streams and ETL pipelines with Adverity or equivalents.
• Strong SQL skills and BigQuery data transformation experience.
• Experience with dbt or Dataform and modular pipeline development.
• Python proficiency for API connections and automation.
• Experience with CRM data flows (Slate, Salesforce, HubSpot) to warehouse.
• Understanding marketing metrics (ROAS, CPA, CAC) and platform schemas.

Responsibilities

• Own data ingestion & pipeline architecture connecting paid media platforms into Adverity and beyond.
• Own CRM integration ensuring lead and enrollment data reach the warehouse.
• Own the data warehouse in BigQuery with scalable schemas and cost-efficient storage.
• Own transformation & mapping via modular dbt/Dataform pipelines with version control.
• Own CI/CD pipelines and data segregation for multi-client environments.
• Enable the reporting layer with Looker Studio dashboards and Google Sheets reports.
• Drive data quality through monitoring, validation, and error-troubleshooting.
