Job summary

The Global Talent Co. is seeking a Technical Project Manager for Data Center operations, with remote work options. You will own client relationships, translate requirements into work orders, and drive end-to-end delivery across hardware deployment, cabling, and power/cooling.

You will manage tickets in Jira/ServiceNow, coordinate with vendors, and ensure change control and safety procedures. This role combines hands-on technical work with team leadership in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in datacenter operations or related field
• Hands-on server hardware, cabling, power distribution, remote hands experience
• Proficiency with ITSM/project tooling: Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk
• Direct client-facing experience in a technical role
• Experience owning project budgets, SOWs, or vendor purchase orders
• Proven ability to lead and develop a small technical team
• Strong written and verbal communication for tickets and client reports

Responsibilities

• Act as primary technical contact for assigned client accounts through the project lifecycle
• Own ticket lifecycle in ITSM tools; create, assign, close with clear documentation
• Oversee on-site and remote-hands work; review and validate work orders
• Coordinate with vendors; manage procurement, lead times, and RMA logistics
• Track budgets, flag overruns, and submit change orders when scope shifts
• Set priorities, conduct 1:1s, plan resources; build SOPs and onboarding materials
