Job summary

Partner One Capital is seeking a Technical Project Manager - Data Center (Remote) to own the complete client lifecycle across hardware deployment, cabling, power/cooling, and remote hands. You will be the primary technical point of contact, translate requirements into actionable work orders, and manage tickets with clear documentation.

Lead multi-workstream projects, maintain a live dashboard, supervise onsite and remote technicians, and ensure safety, change control, and procurement

Qualifications

• 3+ years in datacenter operations or related field.
• Direct client-facing experience in a technical role.
• Hands-on familiarity with server hardware, structured cabling, power distribution, and remote hands.
• Experience owning project budgets, SOWs, or vendor PO.
• Proven ability to manage a small technical team.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Be the primary technical point of contact for client accounts through the project lifecycle.
• Lead onboarding, scoping calls, and technical review meetings.
• Translate requirements into actionable work orders and tickets; manage SLAs and escalations.
• Own ticket lifecycle in ITSM tools; track multi-workstream projects.
• Oversee on-site and remote hands work: server, cabling, power/cooling; ensure accuracy of work orders.
• Coordinate with vendors on procurement and RMA logistics.
• Maintain live project dashboards for clients and stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, change orders, and vendor invoices; assist in quotes and SOWs.
• Lead a remote/on-site team; set priorities and plan resources.
• Develop SOPs and onboarding materials; identify skill gaps and plan hiring.
