Job summary

Maxit Consulting - Max Corporate Group is seeking a Technical Project Manager - Data Center (Remote) to own client relationships and manage end-to-end data center projects. You will coordinate hardware deployment, cabling, power/cooling, and remote hands while maintaining strict QA and timelines.

You will drive tickets end-to-end in ITSM tools, manage budgets, and mentor junior technicians. Strong ITIL awareness and cross-functional collaboration are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in datacenter operations or technical infrastructure.
• Direct client-facing experience in a technical role.
• Hands-on server hardware, cabling, power, and remote hands ops.
• Proficiency with ITSM/project tooling: Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk.
• Experience budgeting, SOWs, or vendor purchase orders.
• Proven ability to manage and develop a small technical team.
• Strong written and verbal communication; clear ticketing and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Own client onboarding, scoping calls, and technical reviews.
• Manage full ticket lifecycle in Jira/ServiceNow; keep documentation clear.
• Oversee datacenter operations, remote hands, cabling, power and cooling.
• Coordinate with vendors on procurement, lead times, and RMAs.
• Track project budgets, flag overruns, and handle change orders.
• Lead a remote/on-site team; develop SOPs and training materials.
