Job summary

Bamboo Works is building a pool of highly qualified Bookkeepers, CPAs, and Accounting Specialists for US and AU clients. This remote, independent contractor role offers flexible part-time or full-time opportunities with US or AEST business hours.

You’ll manage ledgers, invoices, payments, and cross-border transactions using QuickBooks Online, Xero, Airwallex, and Wise, ensuring GAAP/BAS alignment and timely financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience managing US GAAP or Australian BAS compliance.
• Proven bookkeeping or CPA background with US/AU clients.
• Proficient with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero; multi-currency platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounts using QuickBooks Online or Xero.
• Generate invoices, track payments, and handle vendor bill payments.
• Process international transactions and multi-currency payments.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly/year-end financial statements across accounts.
• Assist with US IRS/GAAP or Australian BAS compliance preparation.
