Job summary

Huzzle is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join one of our clients remotely. The role focuses on maintaining accurate financial records, reconciling accounts, processing transactions, and supporting financial reporting.

You will work with international clients across the UK, US, Canada, Europe and Australia, applying strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to month-end closings and compliance. Excellent English communication and reliable remote setup are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles and financial processes.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms.
• Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills.
• Experience with AP/AR and bank reconciliations.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
• Record and categorize daily financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
• Prepare invoices and track outstanding payments.
• Maintain the general ledger and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare financial reports, including profit & loss statements and balance sheets.
• Process expenses and maintain supporting documentation.
• Support payroll and other finance-related administrative tasks where required.
• Communicate with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders regarding financial matters.
• Ensure financial records are organized, accurate, and compliant with company procedures.
