Job summary

IQVIA seeks a Centralized Monitoring Lead for LATAM to drive oversight of global clinical projects from a remote LATAM location. You will partner with project and clinical leads to optimize speed, quality and cost of delivery while adhering to IQVIA SOPs.

The role requires 3+ years of clinical monitoring experience, at least 2 years in a lead capacity, and strong English communication. You will coordinate cross-functional teams and mentor junior staff in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field is required.
• 3+ years of relevant clinical monitoring experience with remote or on-site CRA experience.
• At least 2 years in a Lead role with leadership responsibilities.
• Strong English language skills are mandatory.
• Excellent organizational, problem solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead Centralized Monitoring team and oversee clinical deliverables per protocol and SOPs.
• Act as Unblinded Clinical Lead and manage IPs, risk and mitigations.
• Potentially act as Clinical Lead when not assigned to study.
• Manage study resources including CRAs, Central Monitors, and CTAs.
• Monitor study metrics, trends and action plans with cross-functional teams.
• Contribute to analytics strategy and advanced analytics development.
• Support monitoring strategy development and trigger thresholds.
• Attend study team and client meetings.
• Provide inputs for continuous process improvements and issue escalation.
• Ensure documentation and eTMF readiness; maintain audit readiness.
• Mentor or coach junior staff.
