Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated testing for desktop and mobile apps while maintaining manual and exploratory testing.

You will build and maintain test automation, integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with developers to improve testability and release quality.

This role requires hands-on experience with Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, Electron, and React Native, plus a mindset for AI-assisted QA.

Competenze

4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps (iOS/Android).
Experience using AI tools in QA; testing AI-powered apps is a plus.

Mansioni

Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data/environments.
Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, and regression testing.
Choose manual or automated coverage based on risk; maintain regression suites.
