Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automated and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. Build and maintain regression suites, integrate tests into CI/CD, and ensure high-quality releases across platforms.

You will collaborate with developers, product teams, and QA peers, leveraging Playwright, WebdriverIO, Appium, and AI-powered testing tools to improve reliability and coverage. Remote work available globally.

Competenze

• 4+ years in QA automation with hands-on manual and exploratory testing.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on with Playwright for desktop/web, and WebdriverIO+Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real iOS/Android devices.
• Experience using AI tools in QA and evaluating their output.

• Build regression automation scripts that support app functionality.
• Manually test software for validation and accuracy.
• Execute smoke, regression, integration, performance and other testing types.
• Record detailed documentation of feature behavior.
• Record pass/fails conditions and correlate failures to bugs.
• Identify and elevate any risk to quality of the product or process.
• Collaborate with the product team to ensure quality throughout SDLC and release cycles.
• Collaborate with customer-facing teams to incorporate user feedback in testing strategy.
• Participate in refinement and estimations of effort for planning.
• Utilize GitHub to maintain automation repositories, run scripts, and support automated QA practices.
• Participate in On-Call rotation.
