Job summary

Tether is seeking an Automation QA Engineer to own automation and manual testing for desktop and mobile apps. The role involves building robust regression suites, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with developers and product teams to ensure high-quality releases.

You will work in a globally distributed, flexible environment with remote and office options, emphasizing AI tools in QA and risk-based testing approaches. Excellent English communication is required.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in QA automation, plus hands-on manual and exploratory testing experience.
• Experience running tests in CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Hands-on experience with Playwright for desktop or web, and WebdriverIO + Appium for mobile.
• Experience testing Electron and/or React Native apps, including on real devices.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain desktop and mobile test automation for critical user flows.
• Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and keep them fast and reliable.
• Investigate failures, fix flaky tests, and manage test data and environments.
• Report clear, reproducible bugs and verify fixes.
• Work with developers and product on testability and acceptance criteria.
