MAVI places experienced finance and accounting professionals into senior, high-ownership roles at high-growth US companies. This Lease Accountant position is fully remote from Argentina, focusing on ASC 842 lease accounting under US GAAP and collaborating with US finance leadership.

You will own a defined set of close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures, with oversight by a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.

Competenze

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close tasks, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting.
• US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities.
• Experience with LeaseQuery, Visual Lease, or CoStar, plus NetSuite.
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams.

Mansioni

• Lease abstraction for new leases and amendments.
• ROU assets and liabilities: calculate and post monthly entries.
• Modifications: account for renewals, terminations.
• Disclosures: prepare lease footnote disclosures and maturity schedules.
• Close tasks: complete your close checklist on schedule and document each task for reviewers.
