You will own a defined set of close tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and disclosures, with oversight by a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager.

Formación

• 2+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience with month-end close tasks, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting.
• US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities.
• Experience with LeaseQuery, Visual Lease, or CoStar, plus NetSuite.
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams.

The Role

We are seeking a Lease Accountant to own lease accounting under ASC 842 at a high-growth US company, working remotely from Argentina.

You will own a defined set of close tasks, from journal entries and reconciliations to supporting schedules, with a Senior Accountant or Accounting Manager reviewing your work. The scope grows as quickly as your accuracy does.

What You'll Own

• Lease abstraction. Abstract new leases and amendments into the lease system.
• ROU assets and liabilities. Calculate ROU assets, lease liabilities, and monthly entries.
• Modifications. Account for lease modifications, renewals, and terminations.
• Disclosures. Prepare lease footnote disclosures and maturity schedules.
• Close tasks. Complete your close checklist on schedule, and document each task so a reviewer can follow it without asking.

What We're Looking For

• 2+ years of accounting experience
• Hands-on experience with month-end close tasks, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Experience with ASC 842 lease accounting
• US GAAP experience, or strong Argentine GAAP (FACPCE) or IFRS experience with exposure to US clients or entities
• Experience with LeaseQuery, Visual Lease, or CoStar, plus NetSuite
• Strong written and spoken English for daily work with US teams
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification

Preferred

• Experience with LeaseQuery, Visual Lease, or CoStar
• Experience using AI tools in accounting workflows, with the judgment to review and correct AI-generated output

Work Arrangement

This is a fully remote role with a single client company for the duration of the engagement. Full-time roles require a minimum of 4 hours of daily overlap with US Eastern Time (ET); part-time roles require a minimum of 2 hours.
