Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join the regional SAM team. The role focuses on managing software licensing across Latin America and international regions, coordinating with IT, Procurement, Finance and engineering to ensure accurate licensing decisions, compliance, and optimization.

The candidate will handle entitlements, renewals and audits in a high-volume, multivendor environment while collaborating with regional and global stakeholders to move licensing initiatives

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience in software licensing and IT Asset Management.
• Knowledge of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle with timely processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records with purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs.
• Prioritize high-volume requests and continuously improve SAM processes.
