Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its global SAM team. You will manage licensing across a large portfolio, collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering, and support compliance and optimization activities across LATAM and international regions.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SAM experience, strong licensing knowledge, and the ability to move quickly between publishers and requests in a high-volume environment. English and Spanish fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management, software licensing, or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization and/or audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes, prioritize time-sensitive requirements, and adapt between publishers.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to license details.
• Advanced English and Spanish with regional/global collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle with accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records including purchasing/licensing info.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering and vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Prioritize competing requests in a high-volume environment and contribute to SAM process improvements.
