Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to join its regional SAM team, overseeing licensing decisions for Latin America and international regions. You will work across IT, Procurement, Finance and Engineering to optimize software usage, ensure compliance and support audits.

The role requires hands-on SAM experience with diverse publishers, knowledge of licensing models, and the ability to handle high volumes in a multi-vendor environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on SAM experience with licensing responsibilities.
• Understanding licensing models including node-locked, concurrent, named-user and cloud/SaaS.
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across multiple publishers.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance and audits.
• Ability to manage high volumes and adapt to fast-paced requests.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to licensing details.
• Advanced English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across full lifecycle.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across multiple publishers.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, assignments, reallocations and software optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting, identifying opportunities to improve software utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors to resolve licensing needs and escalations.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment while contributing to continuous improvement of SAM processes.
