Job summary

WSP is seeking a Software Asset Management Specialist to help manage a large software portfolio across Latin America and other regions. You will work with IT, Procurement and Finance to ensure licensing accuracy, compliance and cost optimization, handling high volumes and multiple publishers.

Advanced English and Spanish are required, with strong analytical skills and a proactive approach to process improvements in a global, matrix environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in Software Asset Management or IT Asset Management with SAM responsibilities.
• Strong understanding of software licensing models (node-locked, concurrent/floating, named-user, cloud/SaaS).
• Experience managing a broad software portfolio across publishers and licensing conditions.
• Experience with entitlements, renewals, license utilization, compliance, optimization or audits.

Responsibilities

• Manage software licensing requests across the full lifecycle, ensuring accurate processing.
• Interpret licensing terms, metrics and entitlements across publishers and licensing models.
• Maintain accurate software asset and entitlement records, including purchasing and licensing information.
• Coordinate renewals, reallocations and optimization activities.
• Support license compliance, audits and reporting to improve utilization and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Finance, Engineering teams and external vendors.
• Manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment and drive process improvements.
